Mister Safety Shoes is a people-focused company (and we sell safety shoes)!
We were founded in 1972 by two immigrants, Frank and Nella Colantonio, who hoped to make a positive impact in our communities and inspire others to do the same.
We just celebrated our 50th anniversary and we are most proud of the fact that we have maintained a culture that puts people first.

Each month our team members are allotted a points budget to recognize and reward their fellow team members for living our values, going the extra mile, or for just being awesome! If you’re wondering what you can do with these points, the sky is the limit. The points can be used to redeem anything and everything from gift cards to ICEE machines (we really do have an ICEE machine)!
All our team members are encouraged to submit their own ideas. These ideas can be big or small, straightforward or complex - anything you’ve got, we want to hear it! Each member can submit their idea to the Mister Safety Shoes idea portal. Whether we implement your idea or not, you are still rewarded for your innovative thinking.
